  • ENERGY EFFICIENCY: Initiatives like switching to energy-efficient LED lighting & Exit signs have resulted in significant reductions in electricity use and carbon emissions.
  • RENEWABLE ENERGY: Our Dedicated solar division installs solar PV systems for commercial buildings and the Harvey Norman Retail network, aiming for self-sufficient “solar powerhouses.”
  • WASTE REDUCTION: Programs to manage and reduce electronic waste, such as TV recycling and sustainable packaging initiatives.

FUTURE GOALS

  • Advance toward measurable targets outlined in our sustainability strategy, including reducing emissions and continuing to work with our waste removal partners in increasing recycled content in products.
  • Innovate with suppliers to deliver solutions that meet evolving environmental standards.
  • Publish annual updates to demonstrate progress and maintain stakeholder confidence.
  • Investigate the possibility across all our Commercial sites for solar panel installations to reduce our electricity use.
  • By 2028 our target is for 30% of our delivery truck fleet to be electric.
  • By 2030 we will aim for at least 50% of our company vehicles to be hybrid | EV models.
